Matthew (Matt) focuses his practice in corporate and business law, zoning and land use, and real estate development matters. He practices primarily out of the firm’s Annapolis office.

Prior to joining MDSW, Matt received his undergraduate degree at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland. He commissioned as an officer in the United States Marine Corps and served for ten years, which included deployments to Iraq and the Far East. After graduating from the University of Maryland School of Law, he served as a law clerk for the Honorable Pamela K. Alban at the Circuit Court for Anne Arundel County in Annapolis, Maryland.

Matt enjoys spending his free time attending Orioles games at Camden Yards, traveling, and visiting with family and friends.
